    1. You’re welcome to that opinion. We agree that Ford did fail in keeping the ‘bird as a halo car.

      We think expanding the seating in 1958 blurred the mission a bit. The rocket birds brought it back. Those are some of our favorite cars right there.

      T-bird zigged while Corvette zagged from their original mission. That’s OK. Neither of them should brag about the 1970s “malaise-era” versions.
      We do like the ’83-86 and ’89+ ‘birds, but there was definitely an opportunity Ford let slip.
